Ingredients

4 slices bacon

1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

1 cup whole milk

Salt, to taste

Pepper, to taste

Instructions

Arrange 4 strips of bacon in frying pan. Turn on medium heat. Cook bacon, flipping occasionally to ensure even cooking. Once cooked and crispy, set aside on paper-towel lined plate and crumble when cooled.

Pour off some bacon grease, keeping about 1 tbsp in pan. Add 1 tbsp flour and stir to combine, then stir regularly for 1-2 minutes until flour mixture is golden and nutty.

Slowly add in milk while stirring. Stir regularly until mixture begins to bubble. Lower heat and continue to stir until thickened.

Add in crumbled bacon. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Enjoy with biscuits!
